ENHANCING FAITH THROUGH SPORT
So you think you can hoop?
On Monday lunchtime, we had three American Imports from the Port Macquarie Basketball Association take on the might of our Year 5-6 basketballers. In front of over 600 people, the games had all the excitement of an NBA game. Massive three-pointers from Kobe Powell and Nyra Williams and some of the best monster dunks you will ever see from Keondre Jackson. The students also showed off their awesome skills with Sam Z shooting long-range shots, Harrison I driving into the key and Mandrake and Steele showing off their ball skills. Thank you so much to Lyndal Harper for making this amazing community event a reality again in 2024.
AFL Gala Day
Unfortunately, the AFL Gala Day was postponed due to wet weather. The event will now be held on Thursday, July 25.
Go Amaya and Cruze!
We wish Amaya Davis and Cruze Alley the very best as they race for a spot on the NSW State Team at the NSWPSSA Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, July 23.
Around the Grounds
Evie Pattinson: Evie was selected to attend the ATOD Ballet State Championships in Sydney at the start of June. All competitors had to participate in a class exam and then perform a classical routine on stage. The marks from both contributed to a final grade. Evie danced her little heart out and came away with 3rd place. Evie qualified for Nationals and will now go to Adelaide later this month.

Sport Questions?
Sport is very big at St Peter’s and every week there are many opportunities that we offer. Each year, we have a new cohort who enter our Pathway Sports, as well as many new families.
