CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL
WHAT A DAY !!!
What an amazing day on Tuesday at our School Cross Country Carnival. The weather was fantastic and a perfect day for getting out and active. A huge thank you to the families that were able to attend and support our kids. We had an amazing 220 visitors to the carnival! I trust your child had an amazing day. I chatted with many students, and the massive finishing blow-up arch was a major highlight. The biggest well done must go to our kids for their efforts. It was fantastic to see so many students enjoying themselves and at the same time challenging themselves.

TRUE COLOURS
It was a sea of “True Colours” on Tuesday, as students from Kindy to Year 6 put on their Sports House Colours and continued the great tradition of Flynns, Lighthouse and Shelly. Thank you so much families for sharing your pictures of your children on the morning wearing their “True Colours” before our Cross Country Carnival, and on the event day.
CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOL TEAM
Early next week, I will announce the School Cross Country Team, and make a notification via Compass to all families whose child made the team.
ANYONE FOR GOLF ?
NSW Catholic Primary Schools offer an opportunity for golfers in a variety of age groups to compete in either a 9-hole or an 18-hole event in Sydney later in the year. Please see the below link to NSWCS Golf for details about prerequisites and entry. If you intend for your child to compete at this event, please contact me: jeff.arkinstall@lism.catholic.edu.au
SPORTS QUESTIONS
Sport is very big at St Peter’s and every week there are many opportunities that we offer. Each year, we have a new cohort who enter our Pathway Sports, as well as many new families. Due to so many sports on offer, it can become confusing. Please feel free to contact me and I can hopefully assist: jeff.arkinstall@lism.catholic.edu.au
