Principals' Message
REMEMBRANCE DAY
On Saturday 11th November, I was proud to attend the Remembrance Day service with two of our leaders Stephanie and Sofia. On this day, as a mark of respect to those who have died and suffered, we are encouraged to pause at 11.00am to observe one minute's silence and remember those who died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts.
SCHOOL PLANNING
Our staff are currently working on class planning for 2024, utilising their knowledge of their students and where appropriate, taking parent and carer input that was shared recently. As you will be aware, not all input can be considered in this planning, but decisions will be made in the best interests of all. During next week, we will have our transition time for students to visit their new spaces and meet the teachers who will be working with them. We look forward to this experience, and welcome many new families at this time who will join us in 2024. Staffing will be shared with families in the coming weeks.
MISSION
ST PETER'S CHRISTMAS APPEAL
MONDAY 20TH NOVEMBER
Each year St Peter’s is excited to support the St Agnes’ Parish Christmas Appeal!
Our fundraising day will be on Monday 20th November. Our St Peter’s community is invited to wear Christmas colours to school on this day and bring along a cash donation, as much or as little as you can. We would also like to invite each family to contribute a Christmas decoration to be included in the hampers, homemade would be very welcome, or a single purchased decoration would also be welcomed. All funds raised will go towards assembling some really special hampers for our community members who have or are experiencing some difficult circumstances leading up to this holy season.

AMAZING ARTISTS IN KINDERGARTEN
The Creative Arts are a crucial part of our students’ learning at St Peter’s. Each week in Semester 2, students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are engaged in Music, Drama and Visual Arts lessons that nurture and develop our students’ creativity, knowledge, skills and self expression.
This week Kinder Red have been working hard on some amazing pieces of art using shapes, colours, collage techniques, drawing and representing. Mr Gallery had some visitors to his window who shared their beautiful creations.
