Our good friends, the Adkins, who are a local Wauchope family, have been faced with their toughest challenge yet. Matty Adkins, Dad of two, was diagnosed about 12 months ago with MND (Motor Neurone Disease). It is a horrible disease that shuts down the human body. He has lost lots of capabilities, like moving his arms and legs. Despite this, Matty continues to push through (squeeze lemons) and to this day keeps his head high and looks on the bright side of things. He is the strongest person I know!

Monday 14^th June is the ‘Big Freeze’, where we remember and pay respect to people with MND.
