YEAR 6 GRADUATE
Year Six spent a wonderful evening last night celebrating their journey through St Peter’s Primary School.
The students and staff were joined by families at the end of the evening to acknowledge the wonderful journey and even more wonderful character of the Year 6 students that now move on to high school.
The Graduation also paid tribute to those families leaving St Peter’s, to the wonderful teaching and support team and to all families who continued to provide love and care without condition, especially in this year of particular challenge.
It was estimated that the families gathered at the end of the evening as a collective, had over 1000 years invested in St Peter’s Primary School, taking into account current and past siblings.
In recognising this investment, Mr Leary congratulated and thanked families for their continued outstanding support and dedication to their children and to the school.

SPECIAL THANKS TO
- Kate Perkins and Peta Clancy for their time and creativity in setting up a wonderful atmosphere within the hall where Graduation was held.
We would also like to thank the Year 6 families
for their beautiful gift of a
CHILLED WATER FOUNTAIN...
which our community will certainly appreciate
particularly through the months of summer
- The Year 6 teaching team for the very engaging and caring nurturing of our Year 6 students’ life and learning throughout 2020. Miss Natalie McKenzie, Mrs Amanda Mowle, Mr Evan Murtagh, Mrs Alice McGrath, Mrs Rebecca Cameron, Mrs Jaci Zimmermann, Ms Leisa Nardella and Mrs Sonya Coubrough have provided a very sensitive, inclusive and innovative environment for our young people to explore learning, relationships and life throughout this year.
- St Peter’s staff who continuously provide a vigorous collective support for our young people which projects great potential for their future success in learning and life.
COHORT LEAVES, INCUMBENTS ENTER
Last Friday we had the great pleasure of welcoming Kindergarten 2021 to St Peter’s.
These little people will go through last night‘s graduation celebration in 2027. Our new little people had a cracking start last Friday. Children arrived in 2 different groups and spent over one hour familiarising themselves with their spaces, the teaching team and very importantly, the peers with which they will share the next seven years.
Thanks to Mrs Tink, Mrs Kipreotis, Mrs Doyle, Mrs Bennie and Mrs Bailey for their care and attention to detail in providing a wonderful first experience for our littlest people.
I would also like to thank Mrs Cameron, Mrs Robb, parents – Mrs Bec Eakin and Mr Daniel Blackman for providing information and support to our ‘21 Kindergarten families.

THANK YOU AND HAVE A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR
I would like to pass on the leadership teams’ warmest regards and best wishes to all families and staff for a most enjoyable Christmas and New Year.
Through the challenge of 2020, our community and the wider community has learnt some very valuable lessons and we look forward to embracing this learning with the wonderful good character of people into the future.
God bless.
MISSION
Holiday Blessings
Wishing all of our St Peter’s community a safe and blessed holiday period. May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as you celebrate, reflect and rest with your families.
4th Week of Advent begins next Sunday
During the fourth week of Advent, we focus on Mary’s open heart as she prepares to receive the gift of Emmanuel ~ God-with-us. As we light the fourth candle, we reflect on our faith in God’s redeeming love. We remember that God’s promised Messiah is coming, bringing peace to all His people.
